The Farnsworth-Munsell Dichotomous D-15 Test M20103 is an abridged version of the FM 100 Hue Test for the screening of colour vision defects only. The D-15 Test is intended for the detection of colour vision defects such as red-green and blue-yellow deficiencies.
The test consists of a single tray holding a reference cap and 15 removable colour chips which change colour by incremental hue variations. The test is administered in the same way as the 100 Hue test, subjects are required to place the chips in the correct order.
The test should be administered under controlled daylight conditions (D65).
If you are required to check colour acuity (the ability to discriminate between colours where only small differences exist) this can only be determined by using the full FM 100 Hue Test Kit.
