The Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test M80000/ CEP001 is a highly effective and easy to use test to assess an individual’s colour vision. A global standard, it has been used by governments and industry for more than 60 years.
The Farnsworth-Munsell 100 Hue Test is specified by the ASTM E 1499 Standard Guide for Selection, Evaluation and Training of Observers, the AATCC Evaluation Procedure 9 and numerous leading companies in a variety of industries. Each kit is certified and traceable to NIST – the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
Any colour vision abnormalities and the colour acuity of each subject are detected by their ability to place the coloured reference caps in order of their hue within each tray of the colour hue test.
The Munsell test includes user-friendly scoring software on a CD available in multiple languages. The scoring software gives a graphic display of colour vision capability as well as a Total Error Score and explains the error score grading. Subjects are scored to have Superior, Average or Low colour vision.
