In the centre of Color Space, our standard neutral grey is the ideal colour for colour matching and visual assessment without influencing the user’s perception of colour.
To accurately assess the full spectrum of visible colour, the surrounding area of your viewing environment should ideally be completely matt and have a neutral saturation. Neutral grey is the ideal colour for colour matching and visual assessment, as it does not influence user’s perception of the colour. Other colours are not recommended for standardised viewing conditions, as they could lead to wrong colour decisions.
VeriVide offer two Munsell neutral grey colours of varying lightness, N5 and N7. Our Light Cabinets come with Munsell N5 as standard, which is in the middle of the Color Space. The lighter Munsell N7 is also available and it can be used in VeriVide cabinets. VeriVide 5574 Paint was created for retailer, Marks & Spencer, for standardised viewing conditions in light boxes throughout their supply chain.
Light booths with Munsell N5 and N7 finishes both adhere to ISO 3668 Paints and Varnishes standards. Please contact us if you are unsure which colour paint is right for your light booth.
