Transparency Viewers
Our Transparency Viewers enable controlled, accurate and precision viewing of colour transparencies within the Graphic Arts, Printing and Photographic industries.
Created in collaboration with PIRA, the VTV enables controlled, accurate and precision viewing of colour transparencies. Its D50 output meets ISO 3664 and BS 950 Part 2. Can be used as a stand-alone unit or as part of our SBS cabinet.
- High frequency electronic ballasts ensure perfect daylight simulation.
- VeriVide reflectors ensure even, flicker-free illumination.
- ‘Gentle grip' nylon fibre at the edge of the screen holds transparencies firmly without damage.
- Powder-coated aluminium extrusions with moulded ABS corners ensure a very strong and robust but lightweight unit.
- Can be placed flat on a work surface, on a stand, or wall mounted for maximum user flexibility
An alternative light source such as D65 can also be ordered to view translucent materials such as plastic and bottles.
Our Transparency Viewers incorporates a switch, a time elapsed meter for scheduling replacement of lamps and a maintenance record panel and are available in two models - the 1824 and the 1812. Please see the table below for dimensions.
