Planning Tables
To complement our widely acclaimed Transparency Viewers we have a range of Planning Tables (VPT). Intended for use when critical colour assessment is required over a large area. Especially designed to be used within Graphic Arts, printing and Photographic industries.
The attractive size of the VPT allows you the comfort of quality viewing conditions, under internationally approved standards.
The VPT features an opal diffuser, producing an evenly illuminated D50 (5000k output in accordance with BS 950: Part 2 – viewing conditions for the Graphic Arts Industry. Also to ISO 3664 standards – viewing conditions for Graphic – Technology and Photography.

THE VPT also incorporates high frequency electronic ballasts, enabling an instant start, silent and cool operation, together with no perceivable flicker or stroboscopic effect. This reduces the potential chromaticity shift within the lamps and automatic shutdown in the case of lamp failure, allowing accurate and consistent viewing conditions.
Additionally for tighter tolerances the VPT features a built in time elapsed meter for scheduling replacement of lamps at the end of 2000 hours. For general layout work or cutting and cropping a toughened float glass cover sheet can be provided with the VPT, the addition of which will give a good but not standard colour rendering.

Please note.
- All our Planning Tables are supplied complete with D50 lamps. If you have your own Light Source requirements please let us know.
- If the standard or application to which you are working requires a variable intensity of light, a Dimmable option is offered.
- Please specify the voltage required for the planned geographical location of the planning table.
